GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
MOLYSLIP Soluble Cutting Oil is a proprietary base, blended with low-gravity, solvent- refined
neutral oils and is completely free from cresylic acid, phenols and cresols and the alkalinity is
controlled at pH7. The product is practically odourless and is kind to the skin.

PERFORMANCE AND USAGE:
MOLYSLIP Soluble Cutting Oil has been specially developed both to improve performance on the
machine tool and to promote better and safer working conditions for the operative.

EXTRA INFORMATION:
Typical dilutions with water are:-
Grinding 1 to 25/30 Gear Cutting 1 to 15/20
Turning 1 to 20/30 Reaming 1 to 10/20
Milling 1 to 20/30 Tapping 1 to 10/20
Boring 1 to 20/30 Threading 1 to 10/20
Drilling 1 to 20/30 Broaching 1 to 10/15
Sawing 1 to 20/30
These proportions should be adjusted in accordance with the machinability of the metal stock
and also the speed and depth of cut.

TECHNICAL DATA:
The oil passes the Herbert-Corrosion Test (I.P. 125) at dilutions up to 1 part oil to
30 parts water.
